You must move Vehicle from Roadway after a Crash

The Georgia Department of Public Safety wants motorists to know that you must move your vehicle from the roadway after being involved in a crash.  If you have been involved in a traffic crash and there is no serious injury or death and the vehicle can be moved, you must remove it from the roadway.  A vehicle left in a travel lane after a crash poses a danger to those involved in the crash along with the motoring public.  Georgia law requires drivers involved (or a second driver with a valid license) to move to the shoulder, emergency lane, or median to reopen the roadway.  The Georgia Department of Public Safety says to please remember to keep yourself and other drivers safe after a crash and move out of the roadway.
