Woman arrested for Meth in Dillard

On July 18, a deputy of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Best Way Inn in Dillard in reference to a suspicious female outside the rooms knocking on doors.  The deputy arrived on the scene and located the female, 31-year-old Nicole Dee Bell.  Dispatch informed the deputy that she had warrants for her arrest out of Nebraska for failure to appear.  She gave consent to search her bag and the deputy found a clear baggie with a clear crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine.  She was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, crossing state lines with intoxicants, and giving false information to law enforcement.  She was transported to the Rabun County Detention Center for booking.  At the detention center, a guard discovered a small clear baggie with a crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine in her sock.
