Watch the Leaves Change in a New Way This Fall

Georgia State Parks wants nature lovers to experience leaf changing in a brand new way this fall.

Beginning in October, regular updates will keep travelers posted on how fall color is progressing across Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains at www.GeorgiaStateParks.org/leafwatch.

The website is filled with top trails and overlooks, mountain cabins and campsites, fall events, and safe hiking tips.

Many of our local State Parks were mentioned as Georgia’s top state parks for leaf watching, including Amicalola Falls, Black Rock Mountain, Moccasin Creek, Smithgall Woods, Sweetwater Creek, Tallulah Gorge, Unicoi, Victoria Bryant and Vogel.

To plan your perfect autumn getaway, or to find more information on all of Georgia’s State Parks, visit gastateparks.org on the web.
