Two Wrecks on Tuesday in Rabun County

As kids went back to school and people returned to work, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, was a busy day for travel after the holidays.  Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked two wrecks.  At 8:10am, the driver of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 left the roadway of Old 441 near Keever Worley Road and struck the embankment causing disabling damage to the vehicle.  Fortunately, no one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  At 12:40pm, the driver of a 1990 Jeep Wrangler struck the rear bumper of a 2016 Ford F150  on Highway 76 West at the intersection of Bluegrass Lane.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.
