Two Wrecks on Monday in Rabun County

Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked two wrecks on Monday, January 9, 2023, in the county.  At 3:27pm, the driver of a 2017 Ford Expedition struck a 2022 Ford Explorer in the rear during heavy stop-and-go traffic on Wildcat Pride Way in Tiger traffic due to Rabun County Schools letting out for the day.  No injuries were reported in the two-vehicle collision.  At 6:57pm, the driver of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline struck the driver’s side of a 2016 Jeep Patriot as it was leaving the parking lot of  Farm Bureau on US 441 near North Main Street causing the Patriot to swerve across the street and strike three mailboxes.  No injuries were reported in the two-vehicle collision.
