Two Recent Wrecks in Rabun County

Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked two recent wrecks in the county.  The first crash happened on March 6, at 8pm on East Wolfcreek Road when the driver of a 2000 Ford Explorer said a deer ran out in front of her vehicle, she swerved to miss it and went into a ditch then the vehicle overturned.  Rabun County EMS treated the driver on scene for minor injuries.  The second wreck occurred on March 11, at 2:45pm on Bradford Road in Clayton when the driver of a 2015 Buick Lacrosse said she was backing down the driveway, then went off the road, and slid into a ditch.  The underbrush then caught on fire melting some of the front fender.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.
