Two Recent Wrecks in Rabun County

Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked two recent wrecks in the county.  The first crash happened on Feb. 4, at 6:55pm on Highway 76 East when the driver of a 2013 Ford Edge hit a dog that ran out into the roadway.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  The second wreck occurred on Feb. 7, at 9:30am on Hollifield Connector Road when the driver of a 2013 Ford Escape swerved to miss a truck that came into the lane causing the vehicle to hit a ditch and then an embankment.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.
