Two Felony Thefts under Investigation in Rabun Co.

Investigators with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office are looking into two recent felony thefts in the county.  On November 6, 2022, a deputy spoke with a Peachtree Corners man about a stolen jet ski.  He stated that one of his jet skis was missing from his boathouse off Moccasin Creek Road in Clayton.  He said that the ski lift had been lowered into the water and a 2022 Yamaha jet skit was taken.  The jet ski has been entered into the Georgia Criminal Investigations Center database as stolen.  It is valued at $25,000.  On November 7, 2022, a deputy responded to an address on Potomac Drive in Tiger in reference to stolen catalytic converters.  The parts were cut off all three vehicles in the driveway.  The value of the car parts is $4,500.  Both cases have been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office.
