Trump and Clinton win Rabun County’s vote

The Georgia Primary was held yesterday, as part of “Super Tuesday”, where many states such as Alabama and Oklahoma joined Georgia in holding their primary elections.

As expected, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton won the election for their respective parties in Georgia. Trump received approximately 38.8% of the vote, beating out Marco Rubio by over 195,000 votes. Clinton defeated Bernie Sanders, by taking 71% of the democratic vote.

What about Rabun County? The results were the same, as Trump and Clinton won the majority. Trump received 45.8%, while Marco Rubio edged Ted Cruz, 771 votes to 716.

The race was much closer in Rabun County as far as the democratic vote was concerned. Clinton only defeated Bernie Sanders by 71 votes, 397-326.
