Traffic Stop results in Drug Bust
On Feb. 13, 2020, a deputy with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado for a window tint violation and an obstructed tag. During the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted and two plastic baggies containing suspected methamphetamine and two plastic baggies containing suspected THC wax were recovered. The driver, 24-year-old Hagen Devan Phillip Henderson of Franklin, North Carolina, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession and use of drug-related objects, window tint violation, and obscured license plate. He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the five charges.
