Traffic Stop leads to Drug Arrests

A recent traffic stop in Rabun County led to the arrest of two people for the possession of a schedule II controlled substance.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that on July 16, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee for failure to maintain lane.  During the traffic stop at the intersection of Hollifield Connector and Old Highway 441 in Tiger, a search of the vehicle was conducted and white pills were discovered.  The driver, 33-year-old Jessica Lynn Pendrey of Clayton, was arrested for possession of a schedule II controlled substance and failure to maintain lane and the passenger, 33-year-old Natasha Lynn Tyler of Dillard, was arrested for possession of a schedule II controlled substance.  They were booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the charges.
