Tiger Man jailed on Multiple Charges

A Tiger man was recently jailed on multiple charges.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that 26-year-old Terry Joseph Bradshaw of Tiger was arrested for possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, driving under the influence of multiple substances, driving too fast for conditions, knowingly driving a motor vehicle on a suspended license, obstructing law enforcement officers, and burglary in the first degree.  According to the incident report, the arrest took place around 10:30pm on September 2, 2019, at an address on Sandy Ford Road in Clayton. A deputy responded to an accident on Sandy Ford Road involving multiple vehicles. One of those vehicles was a Chevy truck in a ditch on the side of the road. Bradshaw was questioned by the deputy and seemed intoxicated with slurred speech and began using heavy profanity toward the officer.  Bradshaw was warned to settle down but instead became obnoxious towards the deputy. Then Bradshaw was forcibly arrested by the use of a leg sweep takedown. A search of Bradshaw revealed two pill bottles, one of which contained five and a half pills suspected of being Hydrocodone and the other container had eleven suspected of being Propacet. While in custody in the back of a patrol vehicle, Bradshaw admitted to drinking six beers about six hours prior to the wreck.  In the investigation, the deputy learned that the residence near the accident scene had recently been burglarized and some prescribed medication had been stolen. Bradshaw was transported to the Rabun County Detention Center and booked into the jail on the seven charges. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
