Tiger Man arrested on Warrant

On March 1, a deputy of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 1997 Ford Explorer for a busted taillight at the intersection of Tiger Connector and Huckleberry Lane.  The deputy spoke to the driver, 35-year-old Zachariah Daniel Hooper of Tiger, who stated that he was aware that his registration was canceled.  The deputy ran his driver’s license information through dispatch and was informed that Hooper was wanted on a parole warrant.  Hooper was arrested and given verbal warnings on the registration and taillight.  Then he was transported to the Rabun County Detention Center for booking.
