Three Recent Wrecks in Rabun County

Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office recently worked three wrecks in the county.  The first occurred at 11:42am on July 17, on Georgia 15 when a 2015 Ford Fusion veered into the median, across the southbound lanes, and struck a tree.  The driver was taken by Rabun County EMS to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the single-vehicle crash.  The second wreck happened at 7:57pm on July 17, on Old Highway 441 South when a 2015 Chevrolet Spark swerved to miss an animal in the roadway, went down an embankment, and came to rest in a ditch.  The driver was not injured in the single-vehicle crash.  The third wreck took place at 12:11pm on July 18, on Highway 76 West when a 1991 Mazda Miata struck the front end of a 2007 Ford F150 that was turning.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle crash.
