Three Recent Wrecks in Rabun County
Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked three recent wrecks in the county. The first happened on Seed Lake Road at 9:05am on May 14. The driver of a 2020 Honda dirt bike lost control and crashed into a tree. The driver was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by Rabun County EMS. The second wreck occurred on Black Rock Mountain Parkway at 2:08pm on May 16. The driver of a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle stated that he turned to sharp causing his muffler to hit the ground making his back tire leave the road and strike a 2019 Chevy Equinox. No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision. The third wreck happened on Georgia 15 at 6:50pm on May 16. The driver of a 2015 Chevrolet Spark said he was traveling in the right lane attempting to move over to the left lane and struck a 2011 Ford Focus that was trying to do the same thing. No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.
