Three Recent Wrecks in Rabun County

Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked three recent wrecks in the county.  The first crash happened on October 4, at 2pm on Highway 197 when a 2005 Honda VTX motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on the side and tipped over.  The second vehicle then fled the scene.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.  The second wreck occurred on October 5, at 7:08pm at the Royal Food Store when a 2007 Ford backed into a 2005 Saturn.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.  The third crash took place on October 6, at 2:13pm on Ponderosa Road when a 2008 Honda Odyssey was backing down a driveway and the vehicle left the driveway and slid down an embankment.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle crash.
