Three Recent Wrecks in Rabun County
Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked three recent wrecks in the county. The first happened at 10:25am on August 10, on Highway 76 West when a 2010 Nissan Frontier ran off the road and struck a culvert pipe. No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision. The second occurred at 6pm on August 11, on Wildcat Hill Drive when a 2008 Toyota Highlander was backing out of a parking space and struck a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision. The third took place at 4:12pm on August 13, on Lake Rabun Road when an unknown vehicle passed a 2012 Ford SRW Super Duty Truck and struck the mirror. The unknown vehicle fled the scene. It was described as a black truck of some kind. No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.
