Three Cases of COVID-19 in Rabun Co.

Three cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Rabun County.  According to the Georgia Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 Daily Status Report for April 6, 2020, 7,314 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the state with 1,332 people hospitalized and 229 deaths.  A confirmed case is defined as a person who has tested positive for 2019 novel coronavirus. The significant increase in cases is in part due to additional laboratories reporting to the Georgia Department of Public Health as well as improvements in electronic reporting from other laboratories.
