Threat on White County School under Investigation

Wednesday night, someone made a threat against a school in White County and now that threat is under investigation.  On its Facebook page, the White County Sheriff’s Office posted that they have been made aware of a possible threat to the White County School System. The threat is being investigated by the White County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division with the assistance of the GBI. As with any threat to the safety of students, the White County Sheriff’s Office is taking this situation seriously and it will be investigated to the fullest capacity.  Expect additional law enforcement personnel throughout the schools until further notice.
