Thomas Andrew Parker, 55, Clayton, GA
Thomas Andrew Parker, 55, of Red Fox Lane, Clayton, Georgia, affectionately known as “Tommy” died, suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday afternoon January 13, 2013.
Born in Rabun County December 30, 1957, he was the son of James Andrew Parker of Franklin, North Carolina., and the late Peggy Ann Martin Parker. He was employed for several years in the Textile Industry with Fruit of the Loom and most recently with Ingles Market in Clayton. He was a former member of the Clayton Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Battle Branch Baptist Church.
Tommy was preceded in death by two sisters; Elizabeth Parker and Linda Parker Holcomb, and is survived by his wife, Claudia Watts Parker of the home and by a son, Kendall Parker of Clayton; by his father and step mother, James Andrew and Margie Quilliams Parker of Franklin, NC, and a step brother, Bobby Vinson of Clayton.
Funeral Services will be at the Battle Branch Baptist Church Wednesday January 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Madison McCrackin officiating with Layman Lloyd Hunter at graveside service at Liberty Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Tuesday evening January 15, 2013 from 7 to 9 P.M.
The family is at the home on Red Fox Lane, Clayton, Georgia.
