Theft of Handgun in Clayton under Investigation
The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the felony theft of a 9mm handgun from an address on Coffee Road in Clayton. On December 12, 2022, a deputy met with the homeowner who stated that a firearm was stolen from his truck. The estimated value of the handgun is $450. The gun has been entered into the Georgia Crime Information Center database as stolen.
