Theft from Clayton Home under Investigation

A theft from a home in Clayton is under investigation by the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office.  On Aug. 7, a deputy responded to a home on Bradford Street to take a report from the homeowner regarding the theft of a laptop computer, valued at $450, a pair of crocs, valued at $84, black suede boots, valued at $150, jewelry, valued at $500, three camo hats, valued at $30, an XBox 360, valued at $360, and a PlayStation 2, valued at $100.  In total, the thief allegedly stole $1,674 worth of merchandise from the home.
