TFS’s Walter finishes 42nd at JO National Championships

Tallulah Falls School (TFS) Athletics report that Brianna Walter’s stellar season continues. The senior, in the wake of helping guide TFS’s Rifle Team to a State Runner-Up finish, competed in the Junior Olympic National Championships in Colorado Springs. Against some of the very best in the nation, including NCAA athletes, Walter shined. She fired a 1235.2 (618.8 on the first day), finishing 42nd out of 178 of the best in the United States, putting her in the top 24-percent of some of the NCAA’s best athletes and three Olympic team members. Joseph McGahee and Marc Crotta will compete in the men’s event this coming weekend.
