TFS Win Streak ends at Six in Thursday split

Brian Carter, Director of Sports Communication and Digital Media for Tallulah Falls School (TFS) reports that the Lady Indians upped their win streak to six matches with a win to open play on Thursday night, but fell in a three-match thriller to powerhouse Athens Academy to cap off the evening.  TFS made quick work of Loganville Christian, the host school.  The first set saw TFS take a 25-19 win, and the girls followed it with a 25-16 win in the second set. That victory made it six in a row for Tallulah Falls School.  In the finale, against state-ranked Athens Academy, the Lady Spartans took a 25-15 win in the opening set. TFS rebounded with a solid second set win, 25-20. That forced a decisive third set. Athens Academy took the third set, 15-7, claiming the match win.  The split leaves the Lady Indians at 8-11 overall and 1-1 in area play. The girls return to action on Tuesday, September 15 at home against Athens Christian and George Walton in an area tri-match.
