TFS Volleyball ties Record with 10th Straight Win

The #6 Tallulah Falls School (TFS) Lady Indians’ 3-0 win over visiting Rabun County on Thursday night tied a school record in the process, as TFS grabbed a 10th straight victory, reports TFS Athletics. TFS won the opening set 25-8, then used a 25-11 second set to put Rabun on the brink. A 25-10 third set claimed the match. “After a little bit of sloppy play the other night, we had a good talk and were determined to come out fierce and fast, and that’s exactly what we did,” says coach Matt Heyl. “We took advantage of every opportunity with a powerful offense. The sacrifice was there will all the ladies being relentless not to let the ball hit the floor.” Chesney Tanksley connected well with the hitters, and Katarina Foskey and Addy McCoy shined. Skylyn Yaskiewicz served well, and recorded a 12-point serving run while finishing with nine aces. The Lady Indians improve to 16-11 overall and are now 8-0 inside Area 8-A.
