TFS Volleyball Community supports Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

A theme night at the Tallulah Falls School (TFS) varsity volleyball game delivered funds to cancer research, reports E. Lane Gresham, Director of Communications and Media at TFS.  Supporting cancer research has been an ongoing theme for TFS volleyball teams.  Students and supporters were invited to wear gold to commemorate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  Cainan Yaskiewicz, TFS Class of 2021 graduate and a childhood cancer survivor, joined by sophomore Kesslyn Borders, currently undergoing cancer treatment, spoke between the JV and varsity games. Additionally, President and Head of School Larry A. Peevy presented a check on behalf of the school.  According to sophomore Ashlyn Yaskiewicz, proceeds from donations will be directed to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta-Scottish Rite. Students will continue to support this cause with a Spirit Day on Friday, September 16, 2022.
