TFS Varsity Swim competes at UGA’s Gabrielsen Natatorium

Eleven members of the Tallulah Falls School (TFS) varsity swim team opted to swim this past weekend at the Clarke Oconee Invite hosted at UGA’s Gabrielsen Natatorium, reports TFS Athletics.  “This was a great experience for our swimmers to compete in the same facility that has hosted the SEC championships as well as many Olympians,” adds coach Rachel Nichols.  The boys 200-yard freestyle relay of Grayson Penland, Henry Rickman, Emery Sims, and Nelson Wilkinson qualified for the GHSA state meet in February with a time of 1:39.89. Madison Dampier earned her 7th individual cut in the 100-yard breastroke with a time of 1:12.45.  Swimmers who raced to a top-10 finish in at least one of their individual races included Emery Sims, Caden Polley, Nelson Wilkinson, Henry Rickman, Madison Dampier, Charlie Harris, Molly Rickman, and Carsyn Griffis.  Swimmers who swam to a new pr in at least one individual event included Emery Sims, Henry Rickman, Molly Rickman, Charlie Harris, Caden Polley, Carsyn Griffis, Isabella McClain, Grayson Penland, and Martin Raybon.
