TFS Tennis Teams clinch Regular Season Region Titles

The Tallulah Falls School (TFS) tennis teams came away with big road wins on Tuesday at Rabun County, clinching the top seed for the regular season heading into the region tournament, reports TFS Athletics.  The girls took a 4-1 dominating win, while the boys edged out the Wildcats with a 3-2 win.  “Very competitive match for regular season first place,” says coach Anthony Cox. “It was a good battle, and we were fortunate to prevail. Jake Owensby and Zach Carringer were really clutch to clinch the victory for the boys at 1-doubles. And all three singles girls really showed great form in their steady victories to clinch for the girls.”  The Indians and Lady Indians are both now 11-0 overall and 5-0 in region play. Ariel Kelsick’s 11th win ties the program single-season record, and the girls’ 11th win also sets a new high mark.
