TFS Senior Rifle Trio Qualifies for Junior Olympic National Championship

The Tallulah Falls School (TFS) Rifle Team shot in the Junior Olympic State Championship in January in a chance to qualify for the JO National Championship, reports TFS Athletics. Seniors Brianna Walter, Joseph McGahee, and Marc Crotta have qualified for the National Junior Olympic Championship in Standing Air Rifle. These matches will take place at the Colorado Springs Olympic Center during the first (women) and second week (men) of April. “It is an honor to qualify for this event that is attended by college coaches from all over the country,” says rifle coach Tim Stamey. “Competitors range from college students to high school and are the very best in the nation. TFS Rifle is blessed to have three athletes qualify in the same year.” The entire rifle team is 14-0 this season and have been breaking school records all season long.
