TFS Rifle team takes win over Kendrick in State Semifinals

Tallulah Falls School (TFS) beat Kendrick in the State Semifinals home match on Friday, scoring 1158 against the visitor’s 1117, reports TFS Athletics. Marc Crotta, Brianna Walter, and Joseph McGahee all shot a perfect prone to get TFS off to a great start. The rifle team won their final home match and finished just two points shy of the program record set earlier this season. Walter led the efforts with a 295, with Chloe Erwin shooting a 290. McGahee came in at 289, Crotta 284, and Kylee Loudermilk competed with a 283. Next up, TFS will compete in the GHSA State Championships at Ware County on March 15-16. While the 2023-24 season has consisted of 3×10 matches, the state finals will be a 3×20 match. TFS is now 14-0 on the season.
