TFS names Middle School Students of the Month for September

Faculty members at the Tallulah Falls School (TFS) middle school have selected their fifth, sixth and seventh-grade students of the month for September.

The fifth-grade student of the month is Kale Borchers of Cornelia. “Kale is a great friend to all his classmates,” said Chrissy Van Hooser, fifth-grade math teacher. “He is engaged in classwork and always makes class fun. Kale is also very respectful to everyone. We are very proud of him.”

The sixth-grade student of the month is Elijah Barker of Eastanollee. “Elijah is a second-year student here at TFS,” said sixth-grade math teacher Annette Shirley. “He is very polite and has excellent manners. Elijah is a hard worker and is very conscientious about his classes. He works well with other students and is respected by both his peers and his teachers.”

The seventh-grader of the month for September is Zachary Carringer of Toccoa. “Zachary is recognized by his teachers as a student who goes the extra mile,” said Nancy Almoyan, seventh-grade world history teacher. “He strives to make every assignment the best it can be. Zachary is admired by his classmates and teachers for his positive spirit, good attitude and integrity. He enjoys basketball and baseball but loves all sports in general.”
