TFS Girls 12th and Boys 17th in State Championships

The Tallulah Falls School (TFS) cross country teams raced in the GHSA State Championships first thing Saturday morning, October 29, 2022, reports TFS Athletics. The Indians opened with a 17th-place team finish, better than their virtual projected finish. TFS was paced by Timothy Beck’s 58th-place finish with a 19:15 time.  The Lady Indians followed up with a 12th-place run as a team. Sara Bailey led the girls with a time of 24:53, good for 55th overall.  The season comes to a close for TFS XC, with both teams making state and coming in the top-20.  Indians – 17th Place: Timothy Beck – 58th – 19:15, Canon Brooks – 110th – 21:17, Jackson Shadburn – 111th – 21:18, Carter Miller – 114th – 21:23, Tizian Scheying – 136th – 22:28, Reilly Chatman – 147th – 22:53, and Eli Damron – 183rd – 25:02.  Lady Indians – 12th Place: Sara Bailey – 55th – 24:53, Miranda Chapa – 57th – 24:38, Stasa Beratovic – 66th – 25:13, Allison Bailey – 74th – 25:37, Emma Jackson – 75th – 25:42, Dani Prince – 76th – 25:42, and Meredith Orr – 91st – 26:24.
