Tallulah Falls School (TFS) coaches have selected Indian Athletes of the Month for November.
MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL
Seventh-grader Maggie Shelton of Cornelia was named a middle school Indian of the Month for November by middle school girls’ basketball coach Sharea Long. “Maggie is very committed to her team,” Long said. “She always has a positive attitude, constantly encourages her teammates and has a great work ethic. Maggie is a pleasure to have on the team.”
MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY
Eighth-grader Henry Rickman of Tiger was selected as a middle school Indian of the Month by swim coach Rachel Nichols. “Henry is one of our team captains this season and is always setting an example for his teammates. He is on time, prepared and ready to improve at every practice. Henry’s constant need to improve reflects in his meet performance as he set personal records (PRs) in all of his events at the Chief and Eagle Invitational in November.”
VARSITY GIRL
Junior Mia Kwarteng of Lawrenceville was named an Indian of the Month by varsity cheering coach Amanda Rogers. “Mia is a co-captain of the cheer team,” Rogers said. “She leads the cheerleaders daily by teaching cheers and consistently does what is asked of her without hesitation. Mia immediately realizes those who may need extra help and jumps into action to help them pick up the material.”
VARSITY BOY
Senior Reeves Cody of Cornelia was selected as an Indian of the Month by varsity boys’ basketball coach Cody Coleman. “Reeves displayed great effort, heart and intensity during our game last week versus Union County,” Coleman said. “He helped motivate the entire team through his actions and leadership. Reeves executed on the offensive side, played excellent defense and pulled multiple rebounds for the team.”
