Ten Rabun Gap Students are heading to Atlanta

The Shuler Hensley Awards is an annual awards show dedicated to the best High School Musical productions in the state of Georgia. For Rabun Gap Nacoochee School, 8 students have been nominated after a stellar performance of “Children of Eden”. Those nominations range from Best Sound, to Best Choreography.

However, in addition to the eight nominees, two more Rabun Gap students will be heading to Atlanta. Juniors Alyssa Driggers and Cameron Sweet were selected to be a part of the Shuler Student Ensemble, and will perform during the opening and closing numbers of the awards show.

Georgia Public Broadcasting will air the Shuler Awards live on April 21 at 7:30 p.m. on its nine-station statewide network.
