Take the 2020 Census to help Your County, City, and Area

Everyone in Rabun County counts. In addition, everyone living in your household on April 1, 2020, needs to get counted as part of the 2020 Census.  The results of the 2020 Census will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities every year for the next decade, says Clayton City Manager Cissy Henry.  “Every person living in Rabun County should be filling out the Census because it helps us throughout the state of Georgia with the funding for state and federal funding.  Each individual city, based on the Census, is how your SPLOST is appropriated.  Looking at the latest numbers from the Census Bureau, Rabun County was only at 37%, 143 out of 158 counties, and we can do better than that.”  Please take the time to be counted by visiting 2020census.gov.  If you do not respond, a Census taker will visit your home starting in August.
