Suspect at-large in Lake Burton Burglary

Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence near Lake Burton after it appeared that a burglary had taken place on November 6th. Chief Investigator of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, Jack Tanksley, said that some relatives of the owners came to the home, and noticed that a TV, as well as other items, were missing.

Information regarding the suspect is still uncertain at this moment, but Tanksley says that due to several break-ins in the area of Lake Burton, that the Sheriff’s office is concentrating on the area, to try to come up with a lead.
