Strong Turnout continues Breaking Records into Week Two of Early Voting

Georgia voters are taking advantage of Early Voting this year, reports the Secretary of State’s Office.  As of Tuesday morning, October 25, 2022, approximately 892,000 Georgia voters have cast their ballot during in-person Early Voting, with 132,272 showing up on Monday, October 24. Monday’s total marks 33.5% of the 2018 total for day eight of Early Voting, and is only 19% less than day eight during the 2020 Presidential election.  Early Voting turnout is expected to increase during the last week of Early Voting, and voters are encouraged to take advantage of Saturday’s, October 29, 2022, Early Voting day. To find Early Voting locations and hours in your county, visit the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page.  The turnout numbers through October 24, 2022, are total turnout 986,587, Early In-Person 892,301, and Absentee 94,286.  Turnout through the same day in 2020 was Early In-Person 1,010,162 and turnout through the same day in 2018 was Early In-Person 533,283.
