Strong Early Voting Turnout for Rabun County

Today is the day. Super Tuesday. A day where Georgia residents will be heading to the polls to vote for their favorite presidential candidate, and afterwards, the field will be shifted.

Over 1,700 Rabun County residents took part in early voting that was held for about three weeks prior to today, says Board of Elections Supervisor, Tammy Whitmire, with 616 requests for absentee ballots.

Voting continues into today until 7PM, at the The Rabun County Civic Center, located at 201 West Savannah Street in Clayton.
