Still Time to register for Youth Summer Camps at Rabun Co. Rec

There is still time to sign your child up for a summer camp at the Rabun County Recreation Department, says Athletic Supervisor Adam Dixon.  “We’ve got several camps this summer.  We have youth tennis leagues, clinics, and academies.  We’ve got cross country.  We have a basketball camp with Coach Adcock and we have a basketball camp with Coach Earnhardt out of Rabun Gap.  We have a baseball camp with Coach Satterfield from the high school.  We just have a lot of camps going on.  Our junior cheer camp is already full.  Junior Wildcat football camp, which is free, is coming up in July and that one is always a big camp as well.  Coach Davis and his staff are going to be getting acclimated, a lot of new faces there but we hope to still have a good crowd over at the high school for that one.  Coach Adcock also does a golf camp where they do it like three Thursdays in a row toward the end of summer right when school is about to get in.  We also have a volleyball camp this year.  So, probably too much to give full details but anybody that has any questions out there, just call us and we can give you the details on any of these specific camps or programs that we are offering.”  For more information on summer youth camps at the Rabun County Rec, call 706-782-4600 or visit the office at 400 Rabun Park Drive in Tiger.
