Smooth Election Day in Rabun County

All things considered amid the coronavirus, the General Primary Runoff Election went smoothly, says Rabun County Elections Supervisor Tammy Whitmire.  “Well, we had a wonderful day of voting in Rabun County.  We ended up with 3,564 residents casting their votes, so that was a 28.22% turnout.  So, we felt like that was a wonderful turnout.  We didn’t have any problems.  I’m so proud of the voters in Rabun County and all my poll workers.”  The results are still unofficial and will be certified later this week by the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.
