Slight Increase in Georgia Gas Price Average

AAA reports Georgia gas prices experienced a slight increase compared to a week ago. Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $3.71 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average is 1 cent more than a week ago, 28 cents less than last month, and $1.01 more than this time last year.  It now costs motorists $55.65 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline.  The most expensive Georgia metro market is Atlanta at $3.75 and the least expensive Georgia metro market is Warner Robins at $3.62.  Since last Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has increased by 4 cents to $4.12.
