Sex Offender on the Run in Rabun County
A known sex offender, James Daniel Moore is the subject of a search throughout Rabun County, Says Rabun County Investigator, Sgt. Mathew Thomas…
“People have said they’ve seen him on Warwoman, around Earl’s Ford and Sandy Ford, places like that, also a place on the north end of Rabun County. We are actively searching for him.”
Moore has three felony warrant out on him, while his crimes are not of a violent nature the public should still be cautious…
“He is a sex offender, so parents just need to monitor their children, and people just don’t need to drop their guard, regardless.”
If you have any information on Moore’s whereabouts…
“Well for a quick response, call 911 and let them know about it, but if it’s a tip that’s not really an at the moment thing, just call the Sheriff’s Office and let us know.”
Per a post on the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, anyone caught aiding or harboring James Daniel Moore will be prosecuted.
