Seneca Drug Raid Yields Two Arrests

The Seneca police carried out a methamphetamine raid Tuesday night, making one arrest at a residence on South Fair Play Street for drug charges, and another arrest on an un-related charge.

According to an announcement by Seneca Police Chief John Covington, 30 year old James Phillip Reid was charged with distribution of meth. 35 year old Joshua Randall Ferguson was charged with larceny.

The raid and execution of the search warrant at the residence was carried out by the tactical response team of the Seneca Police Department and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies. Air support was provided by the Sheriff’s Department helicopter.
