Senate Candidates Speak Before Crowd in Toccoa

50th State Senate District candidates had their chance to speak to the residents that are represented by the district last week in Toccoa.

Incumbent John Wilkinson said his main goal is to make Georgia a great place to do business, and that part of that is making sure that the state’s education system provides a quality workforce.

Challenger Roy Benifield, said his first priority is to push for term limits and lowering taxes is a goal.

Whoever wins this Republican primary on May 24th will be unopposed in the Fall, Primary election day is May 24th.
