Sale at Library to Help with New Books

The Library wants to help you take care of some of those books and DVD’s on your Christmas list. The Friends of the Library is hosting a sale at the Library from now until December 21st. Library Manager Stephanie Howard says the proceeds from the sale will help with several different things…
“The proceeds go to Friend’s, and their organization, a 100% of the profits they make goes right back into the Library. That’s for things like the Wednesday matinees cause we have free popcorn and drinks for that, and then we have the movie license. So it basically goes straight to programming, and their money goes to also buy new books, all the new best sellers, new DVD’s. So new items and programming.”
Books can be purchased for as little as 25¢.
