RCWSA to meet on September 13

The Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority (RCWSA) holds its monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 10am in the shop bay area of the RCWSA Office-Shop Building.  According to the agenda, the Authority will hear the General Manager’s report; hear the status report for the RCWSA and City of Clayton Control Valve Project to interconnect the RCWSA’s North Water System with the City of Clayton (Project will bring water from the North Water System (Little Tennessee WTP) to augment water supply from Lake Rabun WTP while the LRWTP filters are replaced.  Once the LRWTP filters are replaced, water will continue to be brought to the City of Clayton from both the LRWTP and the LTWTP. The RCWSA-City of Clayton Wholesale Water Agreement Addendum 2 terms will outline the unit rate and each parties’ responsibilities; hear the status report for Lake Rabun Water Treatment Plant filter replacement); hear the status report for Rabun County Redundancy Water Project (Phases II and III); and approve invoices.
