Rabun Sees Gas Prices Drop this Week

The recent increase in retail gas prices keyed by planned and unplanned maintenance at a number of Gulf Coast refineries and a seasonally stronger demand for gasoline is seeing some relief. Wholesale gasoline prices in the Gulf Coast market have declined significantly over the last week as the refineries have come back on line and production concerns have been alleviated. Gas prices in Rabun County have fallen nearly 10 cents over the last week from around $3.20 to an average of $3.11 a gallon.
