The 2021 Rabun County combined Precinct Caucus and County Convention will be on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Dillard House Conference Center with registration beginning at 8:20am. The Precinct mass meeting will begin at 9am and then the County Convention will begin at 10am. The Rabun GOP urges everyone who believes in Republican principals to come out and be involved and engaged in the process for electing your local and state Republican Party officers in Georgia. This is the time when Rabun County GOP party officers will be selected for the next two years while also sending delegates and alternates to the 9th District & Georgia Republican Party State Conventions where district and statewide party officers will also be selected. Registration will close at 10am with the meeting promptly starting afterwards. If you are not in line to check-in by 10am, you will not be allowed to vote in the County Convention Meeting. The keynote speaker is Suzi Voyles. She is one of the state’s leading experts on problems with Georgia voting integrity and is the past Executive Director for the Fulton County Republican Party and past state Chairman of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women. Currently, Suzi is the state chairman for Maggie’s List that helps elect Republican Women to office, and is also Georgia President for the Eagle Forum. She has testified before the Georgia Senate Committee investigating the 2020 election as she was a precinct poll manager in Fulton County and saw numerous issues with how the election was managed. Selected as a delegate to the 2020 GOP National Convention, Suzi is an excellent person to explain the many problems with Georgia Election Law and the way it is being managed at the county and state level. There is no admission fee or Rabun County Republican Party membership requirements to attend the meeting. All Rabun County residents who are legally registered to vote and supporting of Republican values are encouraged to participate. COVID-19 safety and social distancing protocols will be encouraged.
