Rabun Gap Students win Microsoft Hackathon Scholarship Prize

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School announces that last week, three students teamed up and won the Microsoft Hackathon Scholarship Prize. Congratulations to Parker Stribling ’24, Daniel Wu ’24, and Guillermo Garcia ’24 who participated in the competition at Microsoft’s Atlanta headquarters along with teams of 25 other classmates in the AP Economics class taught by Dr. Mason West. The competition is coordinated by Nation Builders, a collaborative partner with Rabun Gap. Nation Builders challenges students to apply what they learn in the classroom to impact the local and global community. This is the sixth year of the Hackathon and the second year that Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School students were awarded first place in the competition.
