Rabun Gap Man arrested on Drug Charge
The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Rabun Gap man stands charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance. On Nov. 13, a deputy was called to Wolffork Road to assist with a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy met 31-year-old Benjamin Joseph Ivester of Rabun Gap, who had an active incarceration order on him. He was arrested and a search of the vehicle produced a bag of suspected methamphetamine. He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the charge.
